Kansas City Chiefs @ Carolina Panthers

1:00pm EST / CBS

The Reserves Picks

KC: Charlie, Adam, Dillon, Ian

CAR: Jesse, Zach

The flailing Chiefs, with a quarterback who is leading the league in picks, face their greatest test to date as they travel to Bank of America Stadium to face the surging Carolina Panthers in what is guaranteed to be a generational matchup. Don’t look now, but the renaissance of QB Bryce Young, which was never to be questioned in the first place, has propelled the Panthers to a two-game win streak that threatens to continue into the next decade. As if he needed any more help (he doesn’t), reports are that rookie RB Jonathon Brooks will be making his much anticipated debut on Sunday. WR Adam Thielen should also be back in the mix. It should be considered a victory if the Chiefs can manage to keep their dignity in tact, but even that seems far-fetched at this point. Somebody might want to get Shannon Sharpe to call in some help… With that being said, I expect Kansas City to bounce back in Charlotte. - Adam Houston

Monday Night Football

Baltimore Ravens @ Los Angeles Chargers

8:15pm EST / ESPN

The Reserves Picks

BAL: Charlie, Jesse, Adam, Dillon, Ian, Zach

LAC:

Don’t let our picks fool you, this Monday Night Football matchup could very well end up being one of the best of the year. It’s certainly one of the most important thus far. Although the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers come into this game in fairly comfortable positions to make the postseason, at 7-4 and 7-3 respectively, they are each two games back from the top spots in their divisions, which, of course, comes with guaranteed home field advantage for at least one round of the playoffs.

At this point, we are fully aware of the Chargers’ defensive capabilities. However, they have only faced one top 10 offense on the year so far and that was the Bengals just a couple of weeks ago. Although they held on against Cincinnati, QB Lamar Jackson, RB Derrick Henry, and the Ravens are a much tougher opponent and have proved to be capable of plowing through any defense they come across. Fortunately enough for the Chargers, they will have a great chance to exploit a woeful Ravens passing defense with an offensive attack that has been hitting its stride over the past several weeks. Add in the fact that this is the first meeting between the Harbaugh Brothers since Super Bowl XLVII eleven years ago and we have one exciting Monday Night Football on our hands. - Adam Houston
